bluebook was today's colourful champion and leapt 7 places into 3rd spot with a built-up 7/1 winning nap ,

NB was adamanty who tightened his grip on 2nd place with a maxed-out 7/2 success.

Elsewhere Steve Voltage improved 4 places to be 8th thanks to a 9/4 winner,

persian war improved into 10th with an 11/10 number,

Theresa Croude held station in 6th but Lampus gained 4 places into 13th, both  with even-money naps and

Colonel Custard weighed-in with an odds-on shot.
