********************** Congratulations to hulk23 Division 1 Champion May 2024 ***************************
hulk23 has hung on for a superb win in a hard-fought competition this month. He was never in a clear lead in the second half of the month but short-priced winners at the right time kept him ahead. This was after a 16/1 shot on the 4th of the month and a 9/2 on the second.
Hearty congratulations are due and we hope you do well in the top flight!
The top five were never that far ahead of their pursuers and the situation at the top was ripe for some late finishers to come crashing through. It didn't happen today though and the other four to be promoted are tangerine, madhatter, Lucky Luciano and GLASGOWCALLING. Well done to those!
Anzio finished in sixth and was unlucky to miss out on a double promotion. His stablemate Kirriemuir bagged the best price of the day at 17/2 which brought him six places up to tenth. lux is also worthy of mention with an 11/2 shot today that gave him a ninth place finish.
Commiserations to the four going down - it won't be long before we see you here again.
