There was just 0.17 in it at the finish but it was seaasoned campaigner Storm Alert that came out on top. Hearty congratulations for playing it canny by using your rest days and bagging a shortie on the final day.
Commiserations to Oakley who looked to be the likely winner for quite a while but just lost out today. Not lost out on promotion though and this makes successive promotions from Division 3 to the Prem without missing a month. Very well done for your consistent napping which must have been in the main on odds-against shots. The other 3 promotees are bluenose7 (no stranger to the Prem), timberman and happysandwich who achieved the highest percentage from the top five. madhatter landed a 7/4 chance today which wasn't enough but meant that he finished in profit. JRAS was the escape story with a 7/2 shot that booted him 6 places clear of the drop zone. No real hard luck stories as far as I can see but commiserations to the four going down and thanks to petemac for participating. |
