So Khyber kim held off the challengers to win a well deserved victory. And he found a winner on the last day to boot. But it was the 16/1 and 9/2 winners he trotted out in the final week that put him at the top.
Top scorer on the day was rob22 chalking up a 6/4 win. Today's nearly man was shearer2therestcue with a good price effort that would have done it for him if it had gone in. Well done all survivors. And the month before that, I led the Prem table right into the last day,
until some scoundrel picked a last day 22/1 hail-mary shot which won by a nose. I promptly got relegated the next month, so there seems to be a trend. Maybe there's something to be said for Prem's 'spineless cowards', who tread water benignly every month. |
