If you can't post to the forum you can always send an email to napscomp@gmail.com. Put the division name in the subject and your full forum name by itself on the first line. Put your selection on the second line - format should be the usual:
Nijinsky - 4.30 Plumpton. Please don't include personal information. My app will post to the forum whatever you include in the email.
Biggest price of the day was grabbed by halcyon days bringing home a 9/4 nap.

Imlac I hope all is well.
You put up two Prem threads for today and Celeric posted his selection on the thread that didn't ultimately get used.

Updated for Celeric's selection on duplicate thread. Apologies for that. Must have inadvertently double clicked on submit.
And two days running that 2/11 falls over the line.
The problem is you could have a 10/1 beaten a short head and you get closed on by someone putting up odds on shots. A good effort gets you nothing.
As I said I hate doing it, but this week I am not intending to throw away places to those who have just been putting up odds on shots for virtually the whole month.
To a certain extent I could understand when the meetings are all rubbish (I don't even want to look at them), but loads were sticking up long odds on shots at the Newmarket July meeting so it isn't a class thing.

differentdrum with respect, and we all know what that really means, if you’re so unhappy with the way the competition currently operates, you know where the door is.
Why don’t you go off and create your own competition, run by you, where no odds on selections are allowed, and you could even dictate which horses competitors are allowed to choose from in a selection of races to be decided on by you every day.
This I’m sure would give you so much more joy than the current competition, in which every single competitor has the freedom to choose whichever horse he or she wishes to in any race on any given day.
In the meantime, your regular whining on the Prem thread is, I’m sure, routinely ignored.

Obviously, it isn't ignored, hence your comment. And the reason for your comment? The truth hurts doesn't it? You are the prime example of what I am talking about.
I have only suggested a way in which the division could improve. I appreciate picking three odds on shots a month would be a frightening thought for someone like yourself. It looks like you just pick out the shortest price every day and put that up. There is zero skill in doing that, and consequently, your high strike rate is virtually meaningless.

I'll say it again - every single competitor has the freedom to choose whichever horse he or she wishes to choose in any race on any given day.
As for hurting - I can completely assure you that nothing hurts me on here and nothing ever will. Even Paul and his lapdogs with their regular tirades I found absolutely laughable!
Anyway look, I've got a very limited amount of time left on here, and I know exactly when that time will expire - so that will give you plenty of comfort I'm sure. In the meantime, you and anyone else on here who wants to get me and people like me out of the Prem, it's really simple - pick your horses at prices which are sufficient to give you monthly totals which will get us relegated.
Shane has a strategy to smash the odds on backers out the park every month, and on a regular basis he succeeds! Absolute full credit to him for that – and if only there were 20+ more people in the Prem with his level of talent and ability!

The effect of the mentality of staying up at any cost is to grind
down the people who are playing for the enjoyment of the competition.
I never used to look at the table except to see how I was doing.
I now find myself like dd annoyed by the mentality of a large minority of
posters. I noticed recently a non runner posted over an hour after it had
been withdrawn, a losing selection that had not been noticed by
the settler because its name did not quite match, not being owned up to. Now it may be that in both instances
that they are both innocent oversights.
We all got to this division on merit. Some of us want to play
in something that resembles a sporting competition.
