The Sawyer was today's top tipping Thomas and shot into 3rd place with a zinger of a 9/1 winning nap ,

NB was CagliariG who jumped into 10th place with a lassie's 9/2 success.

Elsewhere Hale-Bopp escaped from the pit thanks to a sparky 4/1 winner,

stewarts rise improved 5 places in midfield with an 11/4 number and

travelling man moved up into 9th and Lucky Luciano eased a place nearer safety, both with 5/4 naps while,

ROVING REPORTER, acey deucy and Longshot Louie all weighed-in with odds-on shots.
