Sergeant Pep at 1/9 was a costly failure today. They're not machines, the horse doesn't know what price it is or my favourite, there's no such thing as a certainty.

Storm Alert 2/1 up nine to seventh
Hilly 13/8 two out of two, up one to fourth
learning thegame 13/8 up one to fifth
Hard luck for unluckyStu who saw an 8/1 shot finish in second place.
