On the 17th of the month bluenose7 napped an 18/1 winner.
On the 18th of the month bluenose7 napped a 20/1 winner.
Those 2 beauties along with 2 more modest priced winners was more than enough to see bluenose7 home. Hearty congratulations are due on a well deserved win!
salmon spray landed the only odds-against winner of the day at 13/8 and that meant he sneaked into the top five on the final day. Well done to him and the other promoted napsters Indy Harry, Nijinsky and general custer.
general custer in particular has been very unlucky to miss out in September and October so it was pleasing to see him make it this time.
Hard luck for Hilly who saw an 11/1 shot finish in second place.
sparkygayle was unlucky also to miss out on promotion in that you would normally expect a 1/3 shot to oblige.
Commiserations to the four (apart from me) who are going down - I'm sure it won't be long before we see you here again.
