Dundalk Friday evenings' overall points allocation:

Winner: 20 pts
Runner-up: 15 pts
Third: 12pts
4th: 10pts
5th: 8pts
6th: 6 pts

Friday night rules:

6 pts per night
Max 2 pts per race
Min 1 pt per selection (no fractions, please)
All selections posted before the first race
All selections at Dundalk
Win Only
Any unused points are deemed losers
Non-Runners can be replaced up to the time of the 1st race
otherwise Non-Runners points back

Thinking about it, the comp would have to be offered to the Irish too, and I suppose the Welsh too if they have the numbers.

Then we'd have to work out a format and hope everyone remembers to post their selections.

Sounds a bit of a nightmare tbh, shall we just stick with undecided's comp? Grin

***** 2022 / 23 Dundalk Friday Nights Tipping Contest Champion *****

Very well done to jimnast who is crowned Champion of the inaugural running of the Friday Nights Dundalk Tipping Competition. Jimnast was Mr Consistency with six top three finishes and was among the overall points on a further six occasions.

six_six_six, who finished in the top three on six occasions, finishes runner-up overall.

GRP888, who won the most Friday night rounds (four), completes the podium line-up.

We didn't have loads of people taking part, but I'm sure we can all agree, it was quality over quantity!

I'll probably be running the Big Meeting Comp for the Flat turf season if anyone's interested in taking part, I think kicking off with the Craven meeting.
