Imlac landed an 11/4 success which improved him seven places into mid-table and also back in profit.
halcyon days made it three out of three with a 13/8 chance and Storm Alert built on yesterday's winner with a 5/4 chance.
general custer also had that 5/4 chance but slipped back one to seventeenth.
Odds-on winners included Draw1 (4/5), SkintofGreatYarmouth (5/6), Moose (8/13), look - it's snowing (8/13), Sir Rembrandt (4/5), rob22 (8/13), posy (4/5), Inside The Box (5/6) and learning thegame (8/13).
Hard luck for The Dragon who saw a 7/1 shot finish in second place beaten three-quarters of a length.
