2022 Flat Big Meeting Comp - Overall Points Thread

This season's competition starts on April 12th with the Newmarket Craven meeting.

Changes from last season : The Newmarket Guineas meeting which is now over three days replaces the Ayr Western meeting. I'm also going to include the Epsom Derby meeting.

Overall Points Allocation for Each Meeting

6 pts per day

Chester May BMC voided for overall points purposes

Obviously a number of us have not been able to access the forum this morning, so I will score the comp for those who have been able to post, but the comp will be voided as far as overall points are concerned, and what I'll do is I'll add the Ayr Western meeting as a replacement.

There doesn't seem to be the same scope to have this competition for the jumps, though you could probably come up with ten at a push.

Never thought about it George but yes your right the paddy power is 3 days , henerssy 2 days ,tingle creek 2 days and mainly crap racing ,king George 2 days ,leopardstown Christmas meeting 4 days,Dublin festival although only 2 days is top class ,Cheltenham,aintree. And punchestown but punchestown has a lot of rubbish,we need a 3 day fixture at Christmas one day at kempton two days at ascot taking races from around that period like they did for the Dublin festival it would be superb and help us come the festival.

What about a Friday night Dundalk comp when the winter sets in ?

I don't know if I'm going to be running it yet, but they do have the AW comp on here for the UK racing, usually one meeting a day and points are given for the winner and placed horses depending on SP.

I find the daily ones not for me George did use to be in the divisions but like to have days away from betting,and ended up tipping rubbish to much for the sake of it (some probably think I tip rubbish anyway)I do enjoy Wolverhampton and Dundalk but not much interest in the others.

Very well done to foxy whose winning score of 65 was achieved by winning the Newmarket July BMC and finishing runner-up in the comps for the Newmarket Guineas, York Ebor and the Newmarket Cambridgeshire meetings.

Fair to say foxy is a Newmarket specialist!

Jimnast finishes runner-up with a score of 51 pts after making the top 6 in five of the comps, the highlight being winning the York Ebor BMC.

And the podium line-up is completed by adamanty who made the top 4 in four of the comps, which included finishing runner-up in both the York Dante and Glorious Goodwood comps.
