If a team wants me on a free transfer I am available, although I must warn any team taking me on that it looks like my winning streak has ended and my losing run is just starting (usually only lasts 8 weeks ).

I think the only question I have is:
Can you make a selection from a race that one of your team has already picked from?

You can, maybe check with your team captain if that's ok, but nothing in the rules to stop that.
The duplicates rule only applies to the particular match your team is playing.

Still 2 vacancies, not too late to join in.

Are we still in the same position with two teams theoretically playing a wild card for 9 weeks?
