Financially, not the best result for me as I was on Fernandez at 21/1, but the best two players contested the final, and the one with just a little bit more won.

I did win a few quid on the each-way, but had I have known they had met before a little bit earlier, I would probably have backed Radacanu to make sure I won the same amount whoever won the match.

I also passed up the opportunity to back Radacanu at 11/2 for Sports Personality. I dread to think what the price is now.

I have got Prime for the women's tennis, but well done to Channel 4 for getting the game on terrestrial.

I was on straight sets Raducanu, don`t normally do too good on tennis.

How wrong were we all after Wimbledon. I along with everyone else thought
