undecided is intending to start a new comp on Sept 19th. The rules are more complicated than previously but still involve just one selection per week from each player. It will last between 7 and 9 weeks,as I understand it,depending on how we perform. We had a very settled team for the last comp. I'm aware there may now be some complications,including me, but I am very likely to be here for the start and hopefully won't go AWOL for much more than a week so will carry on as captain if that's OK.
Can those from the spring comp who will be available/willing sign in asap please so we can see where we stand.

thanks soldier - had wa words in the past as hav me n norfolk but present situation puts it all in perspective - ive chose to fight it and hav done for 6 yrs now - poor potless who i think knew tnm didnt and fought the system and lost - gotta stay positive and im doing good when i get the chemo -its just the 2 weeks afta that are the problem

If posy is able to email selections in I don't mind you posting them if it's practical for you, and yes you may post for the dealer.

I'd prefer for the dealer to be here in person but am OK with smirnoff posting for him if necessary. We have yet to hear from hoof hearted who was around in the Naps Tables last time I looked. Please sign in hh. I'd like to keep posy if poss. I'm surprised he's been binned as well. He and I disagreed quite often on Politics when I used to post on there but I don't remember him being anything but courteous. I've got my thinking cap on about that one  |

The reason given for my ban is that I made a sexist comment on the football forum...tongue in cheek I queried whether womens football should be classified as a sport. Unfortunately for me there are/were a number of posters on the politics forum who disagree with some of my views and have been reporting a number of my posts in the hope i'd be banned. They succeeded. |

We really have 7 as if the dealer remains incommunicado by choice smirnoff will post for him.
I'm still thinking what to do about posy. I am very inclined to believe what he says about how he got banned as there seems to be some sort of " cancel culture " operating from both sides on Politics. It would be unfortunate to lose him under the circumstances but of course I can't even message him. His profile has gone which suggests a life ban I think though that seems glaringly harsh. |

Just to keep everybody in the loop I am now in touch with posy by e-mail and he will transmit his selections to me. I think it should work but I have his permission to sack him if it causes too many problems.
That means we have our experienced 8 unlike any of the other teams. I suspect Shane and stewpot will be able to field full teams but the others seem to be scrabbling around. I doubt whether we'll get 7 teams but we'll see. |

Hello smirnoff.
Hope you are hanging on in there. I never liked Duran Duran when they were big but that's pretty good and I vaguely remember liking the single they put out around then. Who is the Kate Bush soundalike btw ? I'm afraid my health situation seems to be getting more complicated as well which is why I've been a bit quiet recently. Could have done with sticking to the old format tbh but am about to read the rules/draw etc and see if I feel I need to suggest anything. I'm afraid I'm not a hugger GLASGOW. All that talk about not being able to hug "loved ones" left me cold. |

Mr Salmon, I took early retirement from work to act as my Mothers full time carer ( early stages of Dementia ), I am
just Thankful i did as i dont think she would have survived in a care home, mot being able to see Family and friends would have done for her. Some truly tragic stories came from care homes. All the best to you and Shearer with your health issues. |
