We have not finished for the day yet, but this month's competition could well be all over on day 2 following NonVintage's tremendous return this afternoon where he got a 40p share of Nottingham's £1,318.60 dividend for a £527.44 return. Amongst his winning picks there was only only one favourite. Following suffolkpunch's effort last month anyone lokking into this thread might even get the impression that we know what we are doing. I don't suppose we need to let them know the truth.

That is the placepots for today now finished and we had two returns. As previously mentioned NonVintage got a cracking £527.44 return from his 40p share of Nottingham's £1,318.60 dividend for a return of £527.44, while at Cartmel onthehoy got a 26p share of their £4.90 dividend for a £1.27 return. Everybody now needs to sharpen thweir pins to have any hope of catching NonVintage by the end of the month.

The Hamilton placepot dividend is going to be a minimum of £4,715.50, barring a dead-heat, and yesterday's big winner NonVintage is still in it going into the last leg. Best of luck with your selections in the last leg NonVintage

suffolkpunch was today's only scorer with a £1.20 share of Chelmsford City's £57.90 dividend for a £69.48 return. As mentioned earlier, NonVintage missed out by one place in the last race of a dividend which would have given him a 4 figure return.
