Not sure how my own team will react to this never mind the rest.You are obviously aware of the issues right at the start of the team competition and after the first week?
Not going to go into detail at this moment but ask you to consider how you would deal with a multi user name on the same team for one,and one infiltrating another team with intent to cause damage to that team?
Just a question in terms of fairness given that the multi users are crap but having a cuckoo in the nest is a bit beyond the pale?
Can we sack said individuals or are we stuck with them for the duration regardless?

I would like to think no-one is sad enough to fool about with multiple forum names, but there is not much I can do beyond appealing to their sense of fair play. Are you claiming your team is being undermined by such an individual? They are not doing the job very well given you are running away with the comp. I don't see that any of your team has under-performed. If you think it's too big a problem to last out the remaining 5 or so weeks of the comp then I would ask you to be more specific about your concerns and we'll see what can be done. |

A number of people in a number of teams have more than one username and always have. It's never caused any problems I am aware of. I think the other Humbugs would think I am undermining them (and I genuinely have only one username).

Glentoby even your worst scorer Tugay has put 95 points on your tally, and there are three others not far ahead of that? I think what you are suggesting would be the lowest of the low but somehow it don't make sense!!

He is having a go at me because when he tried to take DG's pick as a wild card, I questioned his arrogance and him making a mockery of a well run competition.
I'm pretty sure that a few play different usernames in the naps comps but I would be astounded if any are on the team comp. |

Salmon we all know there are individuals on Betfair with more than one username. That ain't the issue here. What people do for betting purposes is up to them. BUT are you aware of anyone using more than one username IN THIS TEAM COMP? ie Either on different teams or in the same team??

I presume he means me given that it was mentioned a few weeks ago. I have one username and have contributed as shown above, he has thanked me when scoring points. I thought this had finished but obviously not(change of medication perhaps).
I will continue to try and score points until the end of the competion, if a majority of my team mates want me to withdraw then I will do so with immediate effect. And I thought this comp was supposed to be a bit of fun! |

I doubt anyone wants any team member removed, even GT but imo he needs a reality check on what he has posted.
As madhatter says its a fun but competitive competition and as George says it has run perfectly and without problems many times. |

Tom i think he was mebbees thinking that me thee and Wazza aka the rest were all one and the same after a recent post i put up about all 3 of us being in the same trading room at Carlisle a year or so back - for the record me and the dealer were only there for shelter and a free doughnut lol . He has resorted to calling me Shafter today so much respect lol - lads clearly unhinged but hey ho Undecided dont let a good story get in the way of a great comp that has run for years and years without any of this crap flying about

Thank you for your fantastic efforts and a great competition undecided, its a shame that it comes to this on the back of one idiot but I'm withdrawing from the comp and will never enter another that contains the idiot glentoby. A stand has to be taken somewhere against this idiot or he will just rumble on and on. Thanks for your efforts once again, much appreciated.

I rest my case UD,we will live with it.No need to go looking it is all here for all to see.Not once have I seen any of my team trolling others on the main Forum nor have any of us behaved to undermine your hard work in running this competition,the opposite if anything.
Obviously struck a nerve among some though and tbh it makes no difference,all the decent participants can see for themselves what I refer to,hopefuly including yourself. Simply a heads up to the fact that TOFTL are no shoe ins to win the competition carrying despite my observations. The worst culprit has not shown and unlikely to do so,you have my admiration and thanks for your efforts despite the comments of certain "Individual",we appreciate everything you do.I wish the other teams well and urge them to carry on with high quality tipping as seen earlier. |

I agree with you UD,let it die a natural death,the guilty have shown themselves for what they are on this thread.I hope the majority get the gist that TOFTL are not responsible for the thread,solely down to me.Let the best team win and it is far from over as today has shown,some magnificent tipping over the whole compy and greatly respected.

I am well aware some people have more than one username. system99,who was my predecessor as captain,over a decade ago and was still playing for us last year operated under 3 usernames in this comp. But it was one at a time and we always knew who he was. I really don't remember this being an issue in my time. |

The troll that is glentoby has openly tried to destroy the very comp that we are taking part in, and in doing so even tried to discredit some of his own team mates. The rest of his team of chickens just stand by and say nothing, why are they frightened of him? He's just a sad old troll/psychopath who self appointed himself captain/leader of the team. Something has to change or this idiot will just carry on being a total idiot. |

As captain of the Humbugs and somebody who has been in this comp for 13 years can I appeal to you not to quit. undecided puts an awful lot of work into this,which I suspect is why we had a hiatus of several years. If you quit you are letting somebdy who is...er...different win. |
