tangerine was one of the co-bests at a very decent 17/2 chance helping him to achieve a 6 place jump into third at this stage of the competition.
Imlac was the other co-best at 17/2 and he made a well timed 5-place leap out of the relegation zone into 24th.
oddball pocketed the proceeds from a 5/4 chance but unfortunately dropped a place into fourth.
Odds-on winners included Inside The Box (8/11) and sparkygayle (8/11).
Hard luck for khyber kim who saw a 13/2 chance finish in second place.
