All welcome to enter this competition run on a monthly basis to see if anyone can take over as this month's champion from qqking who has manged to win the last 4 months competitions. Everyone gets a daily stake of £9.60 which has to be used in a perm with a minimum of 16 lines and a maximum of 96. For example a 16 line perm at 60p per line would perhaps be a perm of 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 1 x 1 whilst a 96 line perm at 10p per line would normally be a 2 x2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 perm.

Some excitement here as well as in the naps competitions today. qqking started off with a 26p share of the Ayr dividend of £39.90 for a £10.37 return which was surely going to be enough to hold off all challengers, especially when the next return was from dukeofpuke who got a £1.56 share of Kempton's £1.50 dividend, yes £1.50, for a £2.34 return. Is £1.50 the lowest ever placepot dividend for a completed 6 race card? The only remaining player was suffolkpunch who needed over £49.80 of a return to overhaul qqking who must have been trading at close to 1.01 especially after the 4th leg where the placepot was paying just over £10 and suffolkpunch had at that stage a 30p share. The fifth leg blew everything apart with the 50/1 winner and 20/1 2nd and with suffolkpunch doubling up in the last he ended up with a 60p share of the £106.40 dividend for a £63.84 return which makes him this months deserved winner. Unlucky qqking made a gallant attempt to continue his winning run but we have this month had the most exciting competition so far this year with the lead changing hands lots of times
So congratulations to suffolkpunch for his victory this month. Will he manage to retain his title in December?
