Of the eight big meeting comps lockup won the York Ebor, finished runner-up in both the Royal Ascot and Doncaster St Leger ones, and finished in the top six placings for both the Newmarket July and Glorious Goodwood meetings. So very consistent and a thoroughly deserving winner.

sixtwosix, who won the Royal Ascot and Doncaster St Leger comps, and finished in the top six in both the York and Ayr comps, finishes runner-up overall.

Lampus, who won the Ayr Western comp, and finished in the top 6 in three other comps, shares the final podium spot with Billposter who won the Newmarket July comp also made the top 6 on three other occasions.

* In a normal season there would be ten comps, but we lost the Craven, Chester May and York Dante meetings. As the Newmarket Guineas meeting was three days this season, this replaced one of them.
