I see no reason to change the rules to allow 2 placepots in one day. With 48 hour declarations on the flat, I don't think it should be too difficult to post selections. For example I had worked out my placepot for Sunday at Huntingdon by 11.00 today. I know I and others will be absent at various times in the year and will not be posting for a week or more; that is just one of these things. It is a fun competition and I hope nobody takes it too seriously. No such leeway is allowed for example in the Naps competitions and I think it would just cause unnecessary problems in scoring etc.
