Fortismere just hung on after being in front for most of the month. He had a neck second at 16/1 today which would have sent his total skyhigh of it had obliged. There was a golden spell of 5 days and 4 winners, 16/1, 9/2, 9/2 and 6/1. So well deserved all in all.
Aquarius and madhatter filled 2nd and 3rd places and they both had decent winners today at 9/2 and 5/1 respectively. scissors was 4th and he was in the promotion places for most of the month. And now, madrigal, who has been knocking on the promotion door for many months, finally got the last day humdinger that he's been waiting for. It was 9/1, the best price of the day, and he overtook 2 to claim the last promotion place. Very well done madrigal! alist5. had a very decent 7/1 winner but it wasn't quite enough and he finished in eighth. Down in the relegation zone, hard luck to mymums who just lost out by pence to Skinto.
