The rules have to be applied otherwise where does that leave you and where do you draw the line.

exactly, i didn't select one the other day as it was within the hour, it won. If there was leeway for Facts then it would be unfair on the many who that has also happened too. Ridiculous reaction

The Big Meeting Competition selections are allowed up to race time.
I don't see any reason why a selection shouldn't be allowed right up to time of the race..

Desperately unlucky Facts, have forgot to post a few days, when realised only a few races left after an hour so have had to guess, only just got in time today.
Agree with Facts 1 hour rule a bit of a nonsense.

Facts: It would be perfectly legitimate to open a thread on this so the views of all participants could be heard. This competition has been going for aeons and the 1-hour rule has always applied. Some have complained but most seem happy. But if a majority believe it should be changed I am sure all settlers would be open to that argument.
I think, but someone else can easily correct me, that the purpose was to have a competition based on more pure analysis without regard to late shifts in the market.
I appreciate your anger and frustration, but I hope you understand we only do things in the best interests of all those taking part. I should also add that we do this for no reward.

It is obviously there to help towards leveling out any advantages due to some having to post the
night before or early morning due to work commitments.
