NB was Alex Bird who moved up into 11th thanks to a 7/4 success.

Elsewhere rob22 took over pole position and SkintofGreatYarmouth improved to be in single figures with 5/4 naps while,

madrigal, san pedro and racing green all gained a place with odds-on shots.

Auntie Bernard's Chinese Laundry just hit the post with a double-figured attempt. UL there.

It May be time to get your heads together behind the scenes to discuss “counting Winners under 1/2 odds as non-runners “.
(If theyve had their 5 they lose a £1. )
The competition is becoming a joke with 1/10...1/12...1/20 odds horses being selected all over the place  .
Whats “tipping” about that ??
Time for you to Challenge these midtable punters to  try and actually PICK a horse .
It will make for more interesting selections and a better competition.

I pick a nap every day if I can, including Sundays, and not often below expected odds of 2/1 upwards and I haven't missed a day yet this year.

I too find it comical/sad that some people will tip up the shortest price runner they can find every day as well as maximise their 'free' days each month by (a) use of all five 'grace days' every month, (b) never picking on a Sunday and (c) seeking potential abandonments wherever possible.

However, that is (and always should be) their choice.

So why do you (and The Mafia) concern yourselves with them?

Yes - they plot and twist and turn purely to try to avoid 'Premiership' relegation as though it is the measure of a tipster's quality, but we all know deep down that that isn't a meaningful yardstick by any stretch of the imagination.

Those guys are now stuck in a meaningless statistical pit of their own digging and cannot bring themselves to change their ways.

Remember that if they get 20 winners, no losers and 10 'no selection' days every month at a (generous!) average price of 1/4 then they will end up on just +£5.00 - but that ain't ever gonna happen anyway.

I have always believed that the only true worth of a tipster is to be top of the rolling 12 month table (something I have sadly failed to achieve so far!) - and that honour ain't something that those guys using their "Alan Keyte" strategy will ever achieve.
