Aquarius has won Division 1 with a bit in hand it's fair to say. The title was won fairly comfortably by virtue of a 25/1 shot very early in the month and some decent tipping since, including the same 25/1 horse which obliged again at about 6/1 I think.
Hearty congratulations are due and I'd like to see you do well in the Prem next month!
la mallatiere finished second because he came really good at the end of the month particularly. Didn't really threaten for the top spot but second place was richly deserved.
SilverBuck1 came third and will be one of the promotees to the Prem which he has won a few times before. Very solid tipping throughout the month earned him third spot.
There was a bit of a hard luck story today - Basil_the_don napped a fantastic 12/1 shot which would have given him promotion but for the fact that the price of the winner was reduced to 51/5 by a 15p Rule 4. He just missed out on the last promotion place by 2p.
Tough luck Basil but very well done on the winner and we hope that you won plenty.
Another good winner (8/1) was scored by china castle which wasn't quite enough to get him into the mix but it meant that he finished in a very respectable 8th place.
At the other end of the table, san pedro found a 9/4 chance but it wasn't quite enough to save him from the drop. Only failed by a 22p margin, hope to see you back here soon sp.

Many thanks to swift-tuttle for his settling duties over the past month. I think it is probably odds on that I will be returning to this division in March as my strategy of picking is probably not going to be suited to the "Premier Division", the division with the lowest winning total of the four divisions!
