To all those making selections at Plumpton and Leicester!

Still plenty of time to choose from Lingfield and Wolverhampton though!

Nice of you to point that out Norfolk, but I actually picked at a course where I was not aware there was an inspection planned. I rather resent sometimes having to pick on the a/w during the winter ( I have no interest in it whatsoever )so I don't think I'll bother. Given that there is a separate comp for a/w fanatics ( which I have never entered) my suggestion for a change in the rules is that the day should be void when there is no turf racing available     Silly

The All-Weather fans would have something to say about that, I'm sure!

My thoughts.

If your sole desire is to stay in the top division (an over-riding mindset for most for some strange reason, which also upsets some people, again for some strange reason) then what is the issue with those tipsters that wish to do that?
If Prem regulars want to select the shortest priced runner they can find or look for a 'non-runner' to minimise their chances of losing on any given day then fair enough.
Personally it seems sad/pointless but it is their choice and i respect that.
Remember, they will never finish above mid-division (unless their last day guess at silly odds happens to win one month!) and will certainly never be top of the rolling yearly table which I would respectfully suggest is the one table that really matters.

So why do any of the more adventurous tipsters feel the need to get upset about this?
You can always adjust your tactics to match those of the Premier Div stalwarts if you feel that need o never be relegated.

Maybe we need more emphasis onto the importance of the rolling twelve month table if possible?
Maybe a weekly update for this for all 150-160 players we have?
I cannot think of another Naps league that runs on divisions rather than all-in?
