DIVISION 1 FINAL TABLE for DECEMBER 2018

panglima has won Division 1 with a bit in hand it's fair to say. The title was won fairly comfortably by virtue of a couple of 12/1 chances at the start of the month coupled with some judicious use of 'No selections' and picking some shorties. Hearty congratulations are due and I'd like to see you do well in the Prem next month!

WeeJimmyMcTavish was the success story of the day from another angle though because he copped the best price of the day (9/2) and jumped 6 places into 2nd. china castle was unfortunate as he napped a 3/1 chance and would have been promoted were it not for Jimmy's good fortune.

NEWGOLDDREAM hung onto the last promotion place which was well deserved because he just missed out on promotion at the end of November and he has been in very good form in the second half of December.

At the other end of the table, we were sad to hear that The Lord BUSH is calling it a day. I'm sure he's been in the competition for many years, most of them in the Prem, and we wish him all the best.

uptheboro nearly escaped as his 10/1 shot finished second, hope to see you back here soon.

I'm a bit thick as you know so this retiring situation and the effect on promotion/relegation is a bit complex

Not sure whether you are aware but we have a retiree in Div 1, The Lord BUSH, who occupied one of the relegation places

So I've notified 4 relegated napsters to KC for Div 2 - is that why you're only giving me 4 from the Prem?

I gave 4 because I have a retiree but I'm getting 5 from Div 2

So, my suggestion is that I
accept 5 from Div 2, give 4 to Div 2
accept 4 from the Prem, give 5 to the Prem

which means that the Prem and Div 2 have 1 less than December and Div 1 has the same number as December.

Is that ok?

swift-t I think prem/div 1/ div2 usually stay the same and Reg in div 3 makes up the numbers to keep it that way. So more get promoted from div3 and div 2. I think?

Confirmed — the Top 3x divisions always keep same numbers and
bottom division does the adjusting up and down in its numbers ..

The way I understand it the Prem relegates 5 and gets 6 from D1.
D1 relegates 5 and gets 7 from D2.
D2 relegates 5 and gets 7 from D3.

Don't think I need 6 KC. I lost 5 and I got 5. So it's all good for the Prem.

I lost 10 and I got 9

Then if Imlac goes up to D1 you'll have 30 and I'll claim an extra one from D3.

Hi Reged, The Lord BUSH also retired from Div 1 (he was being relegated to Div 2)

Since he retired without making a selection on the last day you should have officialy retired him in the table (there's an option in the dropdown menu). Technically speaking, since he has not officially been retired he should sit as a retiree in Div 2 for January. I guess we can cut a corner here with reluctance.

So lmlac from D2 to D1
rob22 and Trusty from D3 to D2
