Cartmel - your classic Bank holiday meeting. Moderate fare usually but a 7/1 winner is fantastic wherever it is and JBNAY found Midnight Shot at Cartmel to shoot 6 places up the table into the promotion places. Wonderful stuff!
Next up we had the shorties - 8 winners in the odds range 4/9 to 8/11.

Salmon - thank you for your memory recall re no of meetings on a BH.

The market rules all so what is this saying about the popularity of going to the races on a bank holiday? In my opinion it's because the courses don't have the prices right (too expensive) - what's their game?
