So in an ultra-competitive Royal Ascot handicap I put up a selection that is around 40/1.

Five minutes (yes five) later, connections presumably having seen my pick withdraw the horse due to my ability to stop trains.

Yesterday at Salisbury, Simple Verse goes off at 14/1 and gets back up on the line. I am only made aware of this whilst standing in the bar at Worcester racecourse listening to the commentator call it home.
