fell at first (was going like the winner at the time of falling)

Thank God I only backed one of them.
Going for outsiders the remainder of month so relegation looks the most likely outcome.

Evening Pete. This is an awful time for jump racing the weeks between Cheltenham and Aintree. Tomorrow is by far the worse Saturday's racing of the year , amazed no all weather meeting

Have very few bets at Cheltenham as its not a meeting I've ever done well at Pete , do love watching it though. I have a poor record in these big jumps races as proved by my awful showing in the jumps competition. Made a bit trading the prices and that's about it.

True story from yesterday.
It's the wife's birthday tomorrow so I have suggested I make a meal tomorrow.
Going for Halloumi cheese for starters , Sirloin for main and Kath suggested a sweet.
She was working late yesterday so I had to go to Asda to do the shopping myself (steaks from the butchers of course).
I had just about finished the shopping and I could not remember what they called the sweet things she asked me to buy so I spotted a neighbour and explained to her what I was looking for "You have strawberries with them, pour over cream and they are white and spongy things"
She replied you mean Meringues but I am not sure where you would find them. That's them I said.
Without thinking I went up to the first woman I seen who worked for Asda and asked her "where do I find your Meringues" she was very heavy on top and she just burst out laughing and said row 16 I felt my face flush up and hurriedly went off hunting.
I can't believe I asked her that but it is true

So glad I never layed as my Lay of the meeting would have been Dodging Bullets (I just never seen that winning a Champion Chase) and at 9/2 thought it was very low (how wrong I was)
