The comp restarts this Sunday for 4 more fortnightly rounds.

I would like to try something different for the remainder of this comp regarding non-runners.
Out goes the ability to leave reserves for selections due to run after 3pm Saturdays.
In comes an automatic same race fav replacement for ALL selections on Saturdays but players can still replace non-runners pre 3pm subject to the replacement being made at least an hour before the original race.

old rule

If you are selecting in a race after 3pm Saturdays you may leave a reserve just in case of non-runners. The reserve will only apply to your own selection and not any other teammates' non runner.
Other than above, reserve selections are not allowed, nor is posting "just-in-case"  selections for team mates that may or may not turn up.

new rule

If you are selecting in a race on Saturday, in the event of a non-runner, you will automatically have 10pts win on the fav in the same race as your selection.
However, you may replace your non-runner with any new selection, provided you do so at least 1 hour prior to the race time of the original selection and adhere to the usual 1hr rule and Saturday 3pm cut-off.
If there are jt or co-favs then lowest racecard no. is chosen.
Reserve selections are not allowed, nor is posting "just-in-case"  selections for team mates that may or may not turn up.
