Well, I managed to hold on despite last minute heroics from feastorfamine who finished off in great style. dogday takes the Bronze medal.

It`s something I wanted to achieve when I first started out in the naps comp many years ago. I`m going to celebrate with
a can of cider

It`s been another great month with the comp played out in what I consider to be the correct spirit, credit to you all.

As always we have to lose some of you, as I glance up at the names I realise it won`t be long before all five darken my door again, good luck in Division 1 to you all.

I should have been 5th but that will not be mentioned for at least another 20 minutes I promise.
Looks like I am never gonna meet Salmon been close 3 times now got within pennies one month a couple of quid the next and 2 lengths tonight.
Not to mention that 8/1 shot that------------ oh soz it ain't been 20 minutes yet.

ok I am gonna watch an episode of Prison Break well done all who won promotion and I am chuffed Shane ended up top of the cream, been a great Month with good craic and most have all I am glad Skinto and Salmon seem to have settled their differences after all it is a bit of fun at the end of the day I mean it can't really be anything else with Shane taking the title.

Many thanks to all of you for your kind words.

On a serious note, and this is a bit 'spooky' (for want of a better word!), it was only 4 months ago Shane had his brief meeting with his maker. Now at that point Shane was in Divvy 2 and a million to win the Premiership any time soon, yet here he is just 4 months later, toppermost of the tippermost!

Of course a tipstering competition fades into insignificance when it comes to one's health, but fair to say Shane has been a man inspired since!
