Lots of winners from the bottom half of the table yesterday, and quite a few near misses.

12 winners yesterday:

Top Gnu was hong kong fooey whose 16/1 scorcher elevates him +19 places into 2nd, table leader Fidway just managing to hold him off with a 13/8 shot.

SkintOfGY was next best with a superb 7/1 winner which amazingly only gains him +1 place and still leaves him in the drop zone. But it's made the task of escaping a hell of a lot easier.

healing hands makes a bid for freedom with a 9/4 nap, and back marker Grok pulls back a couple of squidleys with a 2/1 winner.

Elsewhere, travelling man gains +6 places with a 3/1, kwalker +5 with a 2/1, and eccentric +4 with a 2/1.

Winners also for ardgirl, Ashmal, Kentish Man and feastorfamine.
