I`m back home now after having a stent fitted in an artery (heart) At 1pm Monday I thought I was off to see my maker.

Thank you for the kind words earlier this week, Pete told me, haven`t looked yet.

Was so well looked after by the nurses/doctors, truly beautiful people.

Many thanks to bettys for covering, much appreciated mate. Also, big thanks for Pete and salmon for posting for me, though by the sound of it lrf would have me top LaughLaughLaugh

I`ll take back over from Sunday bb, please email the table tonight. Sorry I couldn`t do the same.

Reg - please confirm your mobile no, the one I had was obsolete.

Welcome home Shane. Happy

I've no idea what a stent is, but I sincerely hope it works!

And I hope the medical fraternity there is a bit more competent than they are here. I just got my biopsy results and it says at the top of the page that I'm FEMALE! The operation must have been bigger than I thought.Laugh

One of my 4 arterys was 90% blocked. They insert a stent to keep it open for the blood and oxygen to flow freely.

Hope you continue on the right path momms.

Good to have you back Shane. Happy

After watching my mum struggle in ICU on oxygen 24/7 for most of January, I packed up smoking about 6 weeks ago with the aid of an electronic cig. I found the first few days it really helped stave off the cravings and it continues to help. Still have moments where I could really have one and I'm sure that will keep happening for a good while yet. As madhatter points out having a reason to quit is a big thing. Good luck Happy
Report Shanelee1966 March 10, 2014 9:01 AM GMT
Thanks Moose

I`ve got my ecig here beside me. The first thing I always did in the morning was cup of rosy and a laugh and joke. It`s helping as ive gone a week now. The craving has eased but could still murder one.

Good luck to you Moose
