barstool I genuinely sympathise mate but as far as I am aware the last day rules do state that non-runners may not be replaced after the start of the first race.

The rules are unfair, it states you can change a none runner, I did, with a winner but I am thrown out.

- All selections must be made prior to the 1st race of the day (1hr rule still applies). - No duplicate selections allowed. - No reserves or unnamed horses allowed. - Non-runners can be changed as long as above rules are still met. I understand that to mean that non-runners may indeed be changed but only prior to the 1st race of the day. The comp just like racing itself can be very cruel at times, I`ve learnt to take it on the chin when things go against me which happens quite often in this game.

As I've hit the heights of the Prem. div. then sunk to the lows of the 3rd, I know from experience that contrary to any rules that may slow your progress, it's meaningless when it comes to horse racing. Even though it's not a level playing field, when you have a winning streak, you just keep on going up and when you're having a bad month or two, everything goes wrong. About the rules... lets get some perspective on these comps. You don't win any money, its not as if you're a tipster in the Racing Post and in line to win £2000 if your nap comes in. Imagine if its the last day of the competition and you're on top of the pile by ten points and you see that another tipster has tipped a winning outsider and is half a point ahead then your even money tip becomes a non-runner. Do you give up or enter again for the next chance to win £2000?
