re Spencer   theres a thread on here slating him .. heres my take  for what its  worth .. when hes on the best horse in the race and the money is down .. thats the clue ..the money down .. eg stable money  he never  gets it wrong .. could be a class 6   thats better  or a group race  by the way group races   the only money down is public money . why  say  for  80k  to win any class 2 the owners dont need to bet .. but some do .. could give you 5 or 6 owners who are millionairs   they dont need the money but they are gamblers .. gambling is not a working class problem .  any how lump on my next best

laying is a real skill  .. laying one horse  per race . well you have to be very good to show a profit  say  over a year
Backing  well thats a different  game .. if you dont know what to lay  well you will struggle with your backs .........daft but true .. lump on

Shane , Open Eagle first time in a Handicap  rated 88 My N/B  Kiwayu  rated  the same 88  but has  in  run in  plenty of  H/C
the H/Capper is only guessing re the marks  eg he will put the winner up   say 9 lbs  cause it won in a breeze .. dont help us punters
thats why the  handicappers   dont bet .. they are always playing catch up  with the cheats
