What a finish we are in for
Lucky Pins close the gap to just one point, expect last week fireworks
AW Barons could still mathematically win but would need to win the last round, have the Mob finish bottom, Pins 2nd bottom and score plenty to get the best yearly p/l. Hmm 3rd looks good though. Each Way Thieves, Racing Demons & Dunter's Punters will battle for a top half finish.

Each Way Thieves billy onions, DeSSieReborn, hong kong fooey, stewpot (capt.), Tingle Creek, Oshun Fynanse, harleelin, petemac. The Rules There will be 20 weekly rounds. Each round will begin on a Sunday and finish on a Saturday. Each team will have 8 selections per week, one from each player, duplicate selections are allowed, no duplicate selections within teams at any time. 10pts win or 5pts EW on British, Irish, French (as long as an industry SP is returned) or UAE racing, selected any day, Sunday through Saturday, the week ends on the last Saturday race. Settled at SP, EW terms as industry standard. Selections must be posted at least one hour before race time. On Saturdays there will be a 4pm cut-off for selections, that is you may pick in any race after that but it has to be posted by 4pm (1hr rule still applies). Once you have posted a selection you are not allowed to change it or the stake, unless it becomes a non-runner or is a duplicate. Non Runners - that team member may choose again for that week. Team captains will be responsible for managing any wildcards required, there are no restrictions on their use, but please try and share them around so that no one individual is always claiming them. Please also name who the wildcard is for when posting. If any player is absent for two weeks running without notice, they may be dropped from the comp. Teams will start the week from a baseline of 0pts. This equates to 8 losing selections and/or non-selections. Subsequent scores will be added to this baseline plus return of the winning part of the stake (10pts for win and EW winner, 5pts for EW placed). All scores count. Points will be awarded for weekly finishing positions: Winners will receive 9pts, runners-up - 7pts, 3rd - 6pts, 4th - 5pts, 5th - 4pts, 6th - 3pts, 7th - 2pts, 8th - 1pt If at the end of the competition there is a tie on points, total profit will be the decider. |

This is the final week for this year, no Autumn session, although I will be running a champions league competition for individuals starting September, you are all welcome to enter that.
Next year, who knows? I can't deny I've thought about making this the last, but come January I may not be able to resist, so please check back in the new year. Thanks to everyone for keeping this a fun and friendly competition, good luck for the final week. |
