2013 Table after Round 17 of 20:

They are almost there with just 3 rounds to go, Cleeve Hill Mob extend their lead to 8pts and Lucky Pins are now looking over their shoulder at the resurgent Barons.

The Rules

There will be 20 weekly rounds.
Each round will begin on a Sunday and finish on a Saturday.
Each team will have 8 selections per week, one from each player, duplicate selections are allowed, no duplicate selections within teams at any time.
10pts win or 5pts EW on British, Irish, French (as long as an industry SP is returned) or UAE racing, selected any day, Sunday through Saturday, the week ends on the last Saturday race.
Settled at SP, EW terms as industry standard.
Selections must be posted at least one hour before race time. On Saturdays there will be a 4pm cut-off for selections, that is you may pick in any race after that but it has to be posted by 4pm (1hr rule still applies).
Once you have posted a selection you are not allowed to change it or the stake, unless it becomes a non-runner or is a duplicate.
Non Runners - that team member may choose again for that week.

Team captains will be responsible for managing any wildcards required, there are no restrictions on their use, but please try and share them around so that no one individual is always claiming them. Please also name who the wildcard is for when posting.
If any player is absent for two weeks running without notice, they may be dropped from the comp.

Teams will start the week from a baseline of 0pts. This equates to 8 losing selections and/or non-selections.
Subsequent scores will be added to this baseline plus return of the winning part of the stake (10pts for win and EW winner, 5pts for EW placed). All scores count.
Points will be awarded for weekly finishing positions:
Winners will receive 9pts, runners-up - 7pts, 3rd - 6pts, 4th - 5pts, 5th - 4pts, 6th - 3pts, 7th - 2pts, 8th - 1pt
If at the end of the competition there is a tie on points, total profit will be the decider.

Nice work Zipper. Putting points on the board early doors will put a little pressure on the teams above. The AW Barons are on a relentless march and the teams above us must surely be getting a little worried about our late and very well timed run up the rails Grin

This week's impressive strike rate continues with cgull adding a nice 11/4 EW winner, Minalisa, to the Barons total, and Ra Nova takes the Pins into 3rd with 13/8 winner Mitchelton.

I think the Barons might be off on a team bonding session over the weekend as they are all done, razmos adding place points from 7/1 3rd Jack Luey to make the total to chase 85.25.
Cleeve Hill Mob move up to 3rd after MALTWHIX picked 5/2 EW winner Intrigo.
Intrigo was also the choice of shearer2therestcue, on the nose!

Salmon stop bleating,you've got nothing to be mad about, because I'd be surprised if you weren't one of the first to read what I posted on our thread a couple of weeks ago after I read other posts on another thread. Thing to do is, be pro active, follow our lead, and get your team to do the same if they are posting selec tions that are running after 4.00pm on Saturday...... and stop sulking Wink

salmon, my apologies if I didn't announce it clearer, someone once asked if they could post a reserve and I couldn't see anything in my rules to prohibit such, so with a little trepidation I allowed it, some teams have obviously picked up on it, but it may nave been a little remiss of me to not make it clearer to all.
