Top 'o' the morning to all you worthy premiership punters (and a very good morning to Soldier and Salmon as well), Shane i do hope your elbow is healing very slowly (try rubbing sandpaper on it)
Just watched the Channel 4 racing tribute to Sir Henry Cecil, very moving, brought tears to my eyes.
I am sure the Macmillan cancer Charity day at York will break all records today.

Worst bit was I went to Morrisons for the first time in ages and they have my fav yoghurts which are Langley Farm, I bought 3 banana flavour and 3 toffee, not had them for a long time and I squashed them all as I landed on them

"I will never forget the wonderful gentleman who at Haydock Park in 1997 got up from the table at which he was sitting with a group of owners to help me with my disabled Mum enter the room and get seated. When we were ready to leave, the same gentleman made sure he was at the door to help us. That perfect gentleman was Sir Henry Cecil. You will always be remembered with such affection, I will never forget you. Rest in Peace."

"I worked for Henry from 1970-74 doing the 3rd travelling. I left to go to be travelling head lad to Lord Huntingdon. Left racing when made redundant in 1999. Last season I took a horse for Hughie Morrison to Royal Ascot walking into the paddock. Henry saw me and asked how I was using my name. I said, 'I can't believe you remember me', he replied, 'I never forget the old school'. Lovely man and a gent to work for."
