A good sprinkling of winners today.

Best was 11/2 Sofia's Number One, who should renamed scissors' Number One as he moves up 14 places.

At the bottom of the table sing when ur winning found his first winner for the month in 7/2 Ustura. Its not enough to lift him off of the bottom, but he has a better total than the last person in Div 1 (that's me

)

caress was successful with 7/4 Piazon and sonofshinner found Activate at the same price.

At the top the muppet further extended his lead with 11/8 Chaptoturgeon, which was also the choice of Lusitano71.

In the bottom half of the table, both Aquarius and eccentric cheered home Smalig Monterg at 11/8.

Three odds-on shots round off today's winners.

There was no write up yesterday as I received some sad news about the mare (Recurring Dream) in which I have a share via a syndicate. She has damaged a cruciate ligament and the vet's advice is to put her to sleep. We are currently debating whether to take the advice or give her an operation, simply to try and be humane and give her a chance of a life in retirement, but the prognosis is that she is still likely to be in pain and so back to square one. Its hard to know what is the best thing to do.

Just out of interest our syndicate ( which includes La Mallatiere of Premier Division fame ) have just returned our Filly 'Roxy Beat ' back to stud .Not injured just being covered .We're off to see John Quinn next week to hopefully get involved with some other 'star/starlet' .Good Luck with your decision FCH ,its a tough one .Ive been involved with a number of syndicates over the years and its never easy when faced with that kind of dilemna .
