the muppet takes top spot as Zarkandar takes the Aintree Hurdle at a very nice 11/2 Cool

Shirataki won at a respectable 11/4 for raspberrybottom.

It was good to see Hunt Ball back on the winning trail and shanelee1966 thought so too having selected him at 2/1.

Captain Conan made up for his Cheltenham defeat by comeing home at 6/5 for Aquarius and the pretender.

Three non-selections today for Red Hand, Earth To Mickey and Ardross66 result in a 15/8 winner in the last at Wolverhampton.

angeleyz went close with 25/1 Holmwood Legend who was beaten by less than two lengths and I was crying into my beer tonight, not because Spurs were poor, but becuase I didn't fancy any of the favourites for the Foxhunters and narrowed the outsiders down to Rash Move, Gentle George and Tartan Snow and only backed the first one of these.  For what its worth I don't have much faith in the fancied ones for the Grand National on Saturday either (with the possible exception of Imperial Commander).
