why is mine a loser? it was a n/r and surely just counts as zero? please amend.
A great 10/1 winner in the desert for twm in United Color takes him right up into 2nd and gains promotion. MALTWHIX unfortunately drops out of the promotion spots as a result.
Congratulations to N-east correspondent on topping the table with a very impressive total of £34.50, largely down to a cracking 33/1 winner.
Joining him in division 1 are twm, shearer2therescue, WeeJimmyMcTavish & LordyLordy. Well done all of you and best of luck in your push for the Premiership.
At the other end of the table scissors found a 4/5 winner, which left him agonisingly 18p short of survival.
Joining him in the drop are duffy, Earth To Mickey, elvisss and lagmorian. Hope to see you back soon guys.

Overall the Division showed a profit of £44.57 for the month, which to say the least is very impressive (just look at the Premiership by comparision). A proverbial pat on the back to you all.

Hi FCH.......n/r's, even on last day, have always just been 0.00, unless the new rules have changed this (but weaver's division has a n/r today treated as zero)?

non-runners on the last day are treated as non-runners, you don`t lose a pound.
shane - do you have a view on madhatters query? I can see it both ways, (i) a genuine non-runner counts as zero, but (ii) I have a recollection in the back of my mind that it always counted as a loser on the last day to stop someone picking a likely non-runner to try not to drop a point.

We have had differing views over n/r`s in the past FCH. But i`m firmly of the view that they shouldn`t lose a pound, i always give the benefit of the doubt even when posted after being withdrawn and on the last day.

However, as you know, I always post the previous evening/early morning prior to going to work (except for the weekends) as I have no access during the day, so I think it is for people such as myself that the ruling remained unchanged.

Agree with mad, the comp is played in the correct spirit 99.99% of the time.
I was relegated by being deducted a £1 for selecting a non- runner on my last day.
It relegated me from a higher division .
Without the deduction - i would have stayed up
Nobody in my position would pick a non- runner knowing
They will lose a £1 ..
And so be relegated without having at least a go at
Surviving ..

Scissors - Didn't you raise the issue with the committee at the time? They shirley would have given you your pound back.
Similar situation for me yesterday:_ sitting comfortably in top half of table, hoping for a nice winner to push me into a promotion place - why would I want a non-runner?
