Working on the how-much-worse-can-it-get principal, 4 of the bottom 5 had a pop at it today, petemac coming closest to success with a 7/1 2nd. Unlucky.

And bluenose7 tops the chart by just 13p thanks to josh monk trying to increase his lead and failing miserably.

grey shark also had a near miss with a 9/1 2nd. That one would have put him firmly in the title race had it managed to go one better.

The only success on the day was fortieschild who bagged a 5/2 winner to go up +3 places into 19th.
