Hi guys
Yes its that time of the year already, hope you all really enjoyed the break
but like Ant & Dec its our annual return to the Tipster JUNGLE
suspect there are even more wild animals, diseases & biting insects to overcome
but you know you just love the Buzz
Dont have to remind you, E.W.Thieves have been The Champs for the past 2 seasons
No Team has ever won it for three successive years
New Season . . . New Challenges . . . New Rules . . . see below

moving back from last year's fortnightly format.
It will be split into two sessions with a 3 week KO Comp in between.
We'll start 3 Feb and I think 20 + 3 takes us through to the Newmarket July meeting,
a bit longer than usual, but that will be it for the year,
no autumn session"
Subtle change of a return to weekly comp is I suspect is going to have a BIG impact upon us
One 'Big' price winner a fortnight usually secured us a top 2 spot
I suspect this change to weekly could almost halve our impact
We may well need to adapt slightly accordingly
As usual a role call is required,

 hope all those wealthy jocks having their breaks arent giving you any inside info PS you dont have to spend all your sponsorship & prize money Thinking of tactics - A Message from Captain Nice 1, dont think we need to keep our long sideburns it was just a 2012 tactic 2, time to take off those Gold Medals, we dont get any extra points for past results 3, its going to be our consistent contributions that are going to provide an even bigger base to work with 4, our mix and match approach will continue 5, play to your strengths 6, its a team game 7, you cant do any more than your 'best' 8, we always have a bit of fun, you play better if you are enjoying 'the game', regardless of the score   |

Undecided as you know we have always had small Team changes every year and sorry to say we look as though we are recruiting again this year Sorry to say Ryanwe is off in search of some 'New' trophies / medals for his cabinet been a great help for us and his winners will be sorely missed Just released our two apprentices as well Mario Baliwhyme, & Fernando Tormyhairout will be off scouting the width of Europe for a replacement |

Welcome on board PeteMac glad you made it before transfer deadline
I just hope HKF quoted the latest pay structure . . . simple rules ONLY one selection per week for each player 1 hour before race time post your selection on the right Team tipster selections topic - NOT on this one (in addition to this) you will get the hang & 7 others to help / advise I will explain wildcard rules later - plenty of time QED detailed rules below - still to be cofirmed for 2013 by Undecided my best guess from last year Each round per week will begin on a Sunday and finish on a Saturday. Each team will have 8 selections per week, ONE from each player, duplicate selections are allowed, no duplicate selections within teams at any time. Players must use their 1 selection per week, it cannot be carried over to the other week in the round. 10pts win or 5pts EW on British, Irish, French (as long as an industry SP is returned) or UAE racing and Breeder's Cup meeting, selected any day, Sunday through Saturday, the week ends on the last Saturday race. Settled at SP, EW terms as industry standard. Selections must be posted at least ONE HOUR BEFORE RACE TIME. On Saturdays there will be a 4pm CUT-OFF for selections, that is you may pick in any race after that but it has to be posted by 4pm (1hr rule still applies). Once you have posted a selection you are not allowed to change it or the stake, unless it becomes a non-runner or is a duplicate. Non Runners - that team member may choose again for that week. Team captains will be responsible for managing any wildcards required, there are no restrictions on their use, but please try and share them around so that no one individual is always claiming them. Please also name who the wildcard is for when posting. If any player is absent for two weeks running without notice, they may be dropped from the comp. Teams will start the week from a baseline of 0pts. This equates to 8 losing selections and/or non-selections. Subsequent scores will be added to this baseline plus return of the winning part of the stake (10pts for win and EW winner, 5pts for EW placed). All scores count. Scores will be accumulated through the WEEK. Points structure for overall yearly comp: weekly winners will receive 10pts, runners-up - 7pts, 3rd - 6pts, 4th - 5pts, 5th - 4pts, 6th - 3pts, 7th - 2pts, 8th - 1pt dont hesitate to ask anything anytime one of us will help out I hope |

I have only been on these comps for 4 month and one thing i can say is i think every person who participates (god thats a big word after 9 pints 4/7 its spelt wrong) does realise and respects the work load of the organizers , settlers , captains etc |
