    MALTWHIX        LRF NH GB (afternoon meetings only)        Not Sunday   


Two things about that occur to me:

In all likelihood it will be a NH Flat race. Is that ok?
There may not always be a NH meeting on a day when you can't post!

Hi momm...laptop issues prevented me posting today i'm afraid.

The carrying over of Instructions for newcomers from their previous Division is a slightly grey area and one that's never been clarified in any of the Divisions to the best of my knowledge.

The onus really should be on the settler to publish a list of current instructions on Day 1. From that moment those Instructions will stand unless cancelled or amended by the players concerned. Unfortunately I didn't get round to posting the list of current Instructions until 3.30pm on Day 3. So the grey area in this case is which newcomers wanted their Instructions carried over, and which maybe didn't. (quite a few newcomers confirm their Instruction anyway so there's no doubt, which is always useful)

The only reason I'm mentioning this is that I noticed that josh monk broke the 1hr Rule yesterday and therefore defaulted to his Instruction (FRF). Having checked back through Days 1, 2 & 3, I see he also broke the 1hr Rule on Thursday when he had a 10/1 winner. However, I'm going to let it stand for 2 reasons.
Firstly he posted his selection well before the off-time of the first race so I'm happy that there was no attempt to pervert the cause of justice.
Secondly, his Instruction wasn't confirmed before I posted the current list of Instructions, so I must take the blame for posting them late.


If anyone has any objection to this ruling, please post it somewhere else. Happy
