She was actually found in a village several miles away in the UN buffer zone between the North and South. The lady who found her took her to a vet who scanned for a microchip and then called me to say "We've got your dog".
So the intensive internet campaign, the poster and leaflet campaign, and the hundreds of hours of searching by myself and several others were all a complete waste of time. I might just as well have sat at home and done nothing. The end result would have been the same.
Thank God for the canine microchip. Let's hope he's working on GPS for dogs next.

That's great news momm. I'm delighted to hear that you have finally found Cleo. Best wishes.
She's very thin and she's got quite a few sores all over her, caused by malnutrition apparently. But she'll be ok. It's just a question of healing time now.
