I won't be able to update the table with those results until tomorrow morning, but at least you'll all have a pretty good idea tonight of the task facing you for the final day.

fortieschild won't be happy when he sees the table. He's been in the lead since June 11th but 8 days without a winner have taken their toll. He now drops down to 3rd but is less than 2 points behind the new leader so could easily grab the title back in the last strides.

The aforementioned new leader is feastorfamine who struck purple with a 7/2 winner. He occupied the top spot for 7 days from June 4th and hasn't left the podium since.

And Penzance's good run continues with 13/2 Al Baidaa shooting him into 2nd place.

So those are the Top 3 who are fighting for the title today. That's not to say that no-one else has got a chance of grabbing it but promotion to Division 1 is the main goal and the battle for the remaining two promotion slots will be hotly contested today.

Can ATone hold in in 4th? He took the lead on Day 2 and has just slipped down from 3rd to 4th, which is the lowest he's been since then. He's presumably cursing the 7 x 2nd places he's had this month.

And what about Lordy Lordy? He's been having a pretty good month, spending 21 days on the podium and climbing as high as 2nd place. But 12 losing days in a row cancelled out the 12/1 winner he had on June 14th. He's back in 5th following yesterday's 5/1 winning nap.

So what about the challengers?
The next 7 players on the table who are all currently in the black have all been on the podium this month for varying amounts of time. None of them are a spent force by any means and they'll all be looking to retake their rightful place on in the ▲-zone today.

There are others of course who are still well in with a chance of promotion if they can find a big one today. All those down to china castle in 22nd place are safe from relegation (probably!) and having nothing to lose by going for it today.

Down in the dumping ground, there's definitely some work to be done.
WeeJimmyMcT found a nifty 5/1 shot to escape yesterday, but only by the narrow margin of 75p.
And betme edged slightly away from danger with a 7/4 winner.

So realistically, the battle to avoid relegation probably involves 7 players, 4 of which are going to be disappointed.
