DIVISION 2 SELECTIONS for WEDNESDAY (last day rules apply)

Just the 4 winners on the penultimate day but 2 of them have really made a difference.

ad hoc climbs +6 places and back onto the podium in 3rd thanks to 6/1 Laodicean at Leicester. And get in there gamsty! uses his calibre to make it 4 in a row with 13/2 Captain Cardington at Lingfield. He rises +9 places up the table to land in 5th spot.

The two who were displaced by those winners were bluenose7 and ThreeToFour who both went for 7/1 shots in a valiant bid to ensure promotion, but both could only manage 3rd unfortunately.

Poppydog and Kentish Man were the other two winners of the day with a 1/3 shot.
Poppydog loses a bit of ground though thanks to ad hoc, and isn't looking quite as secure as he was a couple of weeks ago when he led the field with a total of £10.25. We wish him luck for tomorrow. Well, I do anyway. I imagine those of you in the chasing pack hope he falls of his horse!
And Kentish Man managed to put a bit more space between himself and the relegation zone, gaining just the one place.


So, final day tomorrow and no runaway leader. The title is once again up for grabs by anyone who wants it, and none of the promotion slots are safe for their current occupiers.

Down at the other end, Trusty, zipper, Cloughie1 and raspberrybottom haven't been having a very good month by their standards. We all know they're cabable of producing the goods, but we also all know how easy it is to experience a bad run. So they'll all be burning the midnight oil in search of that elusive nap which will enable them to step off the trapdoor which will otherwise drop them straight down into Div3 when it opens at the end of tomorrow.
