DIVISION 2 SELECTIONS for TUESDAY

Not too bad a day for the Division with 11 winners.

bluenose7 only had 1 winner in the first half of the month and dropped as low as 25th, just outside the drop zone. He's done a bit better in the second half with 3 more winners which saw him on the podium in 5th a few days ago. And he's gone one better today, landing in 4th place with a 4/1 shot. Can he hang on for two more days?

betme has spent a total of 11 days in the Top 5 this month, leading the field on Days 1 & 2, and he's only been outside the Top 10 on 3 days. So he's not having too bad a month. Today's 3/1 winner sees him back up to 7th, just £1.40 away from the podium.

flyingbolt has spent most of the month in the top half of the table, but has only been in Top 5 for 2 days. He managed to get back to 6th place two days ago but has dropped a couple since then, even with today's winner. But he doesn't have much ground to make up and is in a great position to mount a challenge for one of the 5 promotion slots.

One Shot 2 Shot continues to move up the table with today's 6/4 winner, as does get in there gamsty! who gains +6 with his 3/1 nap. Both nicely poised for a big finish.

khyber kim also gains +6 places with his 15/8 winning nap. KK was in the Top 5 for 9 consecutive days earlier in the month but then went off the boil, dropping down to 18th. He's on his way back.

potlessagain has achieved a 35% strike rate so far this month but today's 15/8 winner is the biggest price so far, which is why he's been well outside the Top 10 all month (bar Day 1). He'll need a couple of decent priced winners now to gain promotion. Not impossible by any means.

Much the same goes for stealthgun. A 40% strike rate this month, but all odds-on bar a 3/1 winner the other day. Highest place so far is 16th. He stands still in 21st place after today's massive 1/9 winning nap, but he'll be going after some big-priced outsiders in the last two days if he follows his usual MO.

Kentish Man went for the same 1/9 shot and actually managed to gain +1 place with it to edge away from the cesspit. Never higher than 15th, KM also has a strike rate this month of nearly 40% but they've all been odds-on. I daresay he too will be looking for something a bit bigger-priced over the next two days.

Finally, podiumistas Lampus and ThreeToFour both scored with 6/4 Velator at Plumpton but their positions on the table remain unchanged. Lampus has closed the gap though to just £1.58 between 1st and 2nd.
