DIVISION 2 SELECTIONS for MONDAY

ad hoc should've won a national has only been on the podium once so far this month when he was in 4th place on Feb 8th. He's dropped as low as 19th but has now fought his way back into 6th place following today's 5/4 winner. Perfectly placed to mount a final challenge for a Top 5 place over the next 3 days.

majorupshotbagley has scored 6 winners out of the last 7, all of them odds-on bar today's 5/4 winner. He was on the podium for the first 4 days of the month and then fell back to 16th. But he's back up to 9th now and just in the black with a monthly total of 1p, which is only £2.29 away from 5th spot.

One Shot 2 Shot has also only occupied a podium slot for one day this month. That was on Day 2 since when he's dropped as low as 22nd and was a serious contender for the relegation zone. After today's 2/1 winner he's now just over 5 points away from getting back into the Top 5.

get in there gamsty! has never been a threat to anyone this month in spite of his 42% strike rate (mostly odds-on). Ninth place on Day 2 is the highest he's achieved so far, and he's spent 5 days in the drop zone. But let's not forget that he finished last month in Div 3 with a total of £18.17. So even though he's still languishing in 20th place after today's 4/6 winner he's only just under 8 points away from the Top 5, and with 3 days still to go it's not an enormous task for a man of his calibre.

And finally, DFCIRONMAN aimed straight for the drop zone as soon as the month started and hit his target on Day 5, since when he's been close with 3 x 2nds and 1 x 3rd at 14/1, 10/1, 16/1 and 14/1. But until today he's only had the one winner, a 9/2 shot three days ago. He's finally found a beauty in 14/1 Paddy Pub which duly obliged at Naas elevating him +10 places into 19th with a monthly total of -£4.50. The podium beckons, less than £7 away.
