Six of you, plus Tightfisted, tried to find the winner of the Welsh National. Only miscreant man managed to do it.
He napped Le Beau Bai who obliged at the great price of 10/1. Excellent job. I hope you had a few pennies on it.
That win sends miscreant rocketing +13 up the table into 2nd place, less than £3 behind zipper who consolidated his position at the top with an odds-on shot.

learningthegame dropped off the podium 15 days ago and has been trying to get back on it ever since, never dropping lower than 9th. He's back into 6th spot today after a 5/2 winner.
Ming's only spent 7 days on the podium so far this month, but he's heading back in the right direction again, gaining +4 places with his 9/4 nap.
And following yesterday's winner, Pedro39 continues to make headway with 7/4 Ambion Wood at Chepstow.

Completing the day's tally of 9 winners were Ad hoc, Andrew In Sweden, potlessagain and majorupshotbagley.

Still no joy for anyone down in the relegation zone.
only1mill will be cursing that he didn't activate his instruction before Christmas as he's missed out on 2 winners in 2 days at 7/2 and 5/2. They would have lifted him well out of danger.

4 days to go and the battle for promotion is still very wide open with a lot of players in contention.

Promotion Betting Comp

zipper dramatically increased his chances of promotion yesterday, albeit with an odds-on. But with only 4 days to go now, the worst he can end up with is a total of £6.61 which may be enough.

miscreant man's two backers, Ming and undecided, will be delighted to see him catapult into 2nd place, but they both need some miracles worked to overtake zipper on the leaderboard.

raspberrybottom has just placed £200 on feastorfamine. There's a maximum of 100 on any one player in any one day, so 100 at yesterday's price of 9/4 and 100 at today's new price of 4/1. So he needs to stay on the podium himself, along with miscreant man, and for feastorfamine to get back there too. Then all he needs is a 20/1 shot or better to come good with his last 100, and he's sorted.
